- Day 1- Monday, April 13 – Newnan, GA - Our adventure begins with morning pick ups from Zachary, Baton Rouge. Arriving in Newnan, GA this evening for an overnight stay.
Day 2- Tuesday, April 14 - Durham, NC - Take a scenic late-afternoon drive through Duke University’s iconic campus, with its majestic Gothic architecture, tree-lined roads, and stunning Duke Chapel. Just minutes away, we will overnight in Durham. (B)
Day 3- Wednesday, April 15 – Williamsburg, VA - After breakfast we depart for Richmond, where we will enjoy a late morning guided tour. After lunch on our own, we will head to charming Williamsburg, arriving late afternoon to settle in for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 4 - Thursday, April 16 - Norfolk, VA - This morning begins with a guided tour of Colonial Williamsburg, where history comes to life through restored buildings and costumed interpreters. Enjoy some free time to explore the charming shops and surroundings on your own before traveling to Norfolk, where we'll check into our hotel and settle in for a two-night stay. (B)
Day 5- Friday, April 17 - Norfolk International Tattoo - Today we prepare for a spectacular night out at the Virginia International Tattoo. This afternoon we head to Scope Plaza for the Tattoo Hullabaloo—a lively pre‑show festival featuring music, dance, marching drills, and international drum showcases. Enjoy food and drink vendors and soak in the atmosphere before heading into Scope Arena for the main Tattoo performance, typically beginning at 7:30 PM. Witness over 800 performers—military bands, pipe and drum ensembles, Highland dancers—and an emotional tribute to the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Army, Navy, and Marine Corps (B)
Day 6 - Saturday, April 18 – Charlotte, NC - After breakfast, we begin our journey home with a scenic drive to Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon arrival, enjoy a special evening out at a local dinner theater, combining great food with live entertainment. After the show, we'll check in and overnight in Charlotte. (B, Kickback)
Day 7 - Sunday, April 19 - Montgomery, AL - This morning after breakfast, we continue on our way home. We have a late morning stop at the beautiful Atlanta Botanical Gardens. We make our way to Montgomery, Alabama where we overnight. (B, Kickback)
Day 8- Monday, April 20- Home - This morning after breakfast we board our motorcoach for our return home with lots of wonderful memories! (B)
