Day 1- Monday, Mar 21 - Chattanooga, TN – Motorcoach from Zachary, Baton Rouge, Hammond, Meridian, Birmingham and on to Chattanooga, our home for two nights.
Day 2 - Tuesday, Mar 22 - Chattanooga – This morning, we explore the “Scenic City” with a city tour, a walk across the Walnut Street Bridge, Lookout Mountain and much more. Tonight we take a dinner cruise on board the Southern Belle Riverboat as we ride down the Tennessee River. Experience Chattanooga at night with an amazing historian who will offer fascinating facts about the history and beauty of the city while we enjoy a wonderful dinner.
Day 3 - Wednesday, Mar 23 - Nashville – Today we journey into Middle Tennessee and to Nashville. This morning we’ll spend time at the Hermitage, the home of President Andrew Jackson, known as “the People’s President.” Walk through Jackson’s life, explore a beautiful, historic Tennessee farm and experience an important piece of Nashville and our nation. This afternoon, we’ll arrive at our downtown Nashville hotel, our home for 2 nights. Tonight, we see the Grand Ole Opry, an American icon.
Day 4 - Thursday, Mar 24 - Nashville - This morning we’ll do a city tour, walk through the historic Ryman Auditorium, the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Parthenon in Centennial Park. Tonight you’ll want to explore the many downtown restaurants and music venues.
Day 5 - Friday, Mar 25 -Memphis – Morning departure and lunch in Jackson, Tennessee at the world famous Old Country Store Restaurant at the Casey Jones Village. Enjoy time shopping or ice cream. This afternoon we arrive in Memphis, and enjoy a tour of Graceland, home of Elvis Presley. Tonight we stay at the historic Peabody Hotel and free time on Beale Street for music and food.
Day 6 - Saturday, Mar 26 - Oxford – Today we tour Rowan Oak, the home of renowned American novelist and Pulitzer Prize winner William Faulkner who wrote many notable and award-winning novels including The Sound and the Fury. Enjoy lunch and shopping on the Historic Oxford Square this afternoon. Overnight in Oxford.
Day 7 - Sunday, Mar 27 - Journey through Mississippi with a lunch stop in Jackson before arriving home this afternoon.
