  • Day 1 - Tuesday, Sept. 21- Abilene, Texas - Today begins our journey to Santa Fe, starting with an early morning departure from Zachary and Baton Rouge, with additional pick-ups in Lafayette and Shreveport. We overnight in Abilene, Texas.

    Day 2 - Wednesday, Sept. 22- Santa Fe, New Mexico – Continue traveling through Texas, arriving this evening in Santa Fe. For dinner, our hotel provides "Kickback", an included buffet of light food and drink served nightly in the lobby area. Alternatively, you can opt to explore restaurants in the local Central Plaza area. (B, Kickback)

    Day 3 - Thursday, Sept. 23- Santa Fe, New Mexico - Morning guided tour of this 400-plus-year-old capital city. (Insert highlights of tour.) Your afternoon is free for shopping and exploring. (B, Kickback)

    Day 4 - Friday, Sept. 24- Santa Fe & Taos - Today, we visit Taos and the area, including the famous 1,000-year-old Taos Pueblo, a village inhabited for more than 800 years and Taos Plaza. You’ll also see the Kit Carson Home and Museum and Rio Grande Gorge and Bridge. Return to Santa Fe and stop for a scenic view of the Rio Grande, a legendary river that cuts a distinct path through the history of the Southwest. Your evening is free for dinner on your own or at our hotel. (B, Kickback)

    Day 5 - Saturday, Sept. 25- Santa Fe- We spend this morning tour at Bandelier National Monument. From around 1150 AD to 1550 AD, the Ancestral Pueblo People lived in the area of Bandelier National Monument, and they build homes from volcanic tuff, dwellings which will be highlighted on our tour.     Day 6 - Sunday, Sept. 26- Santa Fe - Sunday is free to explore the many sites this capitol city has to offer. Museums and historic sites of interest include: the Georgia O'Keeffee Museum, the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art, the New Mexico History Museum, the New Mexico Museum of Art, the San Miguel Chapel (oldest church in the United States), and the Wheelwright Museum of Indian Women in the Arts.     Day 7 - Monday, Sept. 27- Wichita Falls, Texas- Today begins our motorcoach journey home by way of Amarillo. We overnight in Witchita Falls, Texas. (B)

    Day 8 - Tuesday, Sept. 28-  Home - Today, we arrive home with wonderful memories of our time in Santa Fe! (B)
