- Day 1- Saturday, March 14– Miami – Fly to Miami for overnight.
Day 2- Sunday, March 15 – This afternoon, board the Norwegian Jewel cruise ship. (B, D)
Day 3- Monday, March 16- Day at Sea- Today, we enjoy a restful day of sailing. With a spa, fitness center, swimming pool, and multiple shops, you’ll never be bored while cruising. For meals, there are several unique bars and restaurants to choose from. (B, L, D)
Day 4- Tuesday, March 17 - George Town, Grand Cayman- This morning, we arrive at our first port of call in George Town, Grand Cayman, an overseas territory of the United Kingdom. Explore Grand Cayman through optional shore excursions like a dolphin encounter or distillery tour. Or continue relaxing on the ship! (B, L, D)
Day 5- Wednesday, March 18- Day at Sea – Enjoy a day at sea, experiencing all our ship has to offer. (B, L, D)
Day 6- Thursday, March 19 - Cartagena, Colombia - Today, we dock in Cartagena, Colombia, a charming port city with a history the stretches back to early Spanish colonization in the 1500s. Optionally, tour the Old City, a UNESCO world heritage site, or try snorkeling in the pristine ocean waters. There are other excursions to choose from as well, with the option to simply rest on the ship. (B, L, D)
Day 7- Friday, March 20 - Panama Canal, Gatun Lake, and Colon, Panama - Enjoy sailing through history today as we journey through the Panama Canal. Begun under President Theodore Roosevelt and completed in 1914, the canal dramatically improved shipping times and remains essential to global trade today. Travelers can remain aboard, or opt for an excursion to Gatun Lake. This afternoon, we dock in colorful seaport of Colón, Panama. (B, L, D)
Day 8- Saturday, March 21-Puerto Limon, Costa Rica- Today the port of call is Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, a spot that is becoming popular with eco-tourists. From adventurous excursions to food-related tours, this is the perfect spot for travelers of all ages. (B, L, D)
Day 9- Sunday, March 22 – Day at Sea– Continue to explore all the Norwegian Jewel has to offer on a day at sea. (B, L, D)
Day 10- Monday, March 23 – Harvest Caye, Belize– From exciting ziplines to Mayan ruins, choose from a variety of activities when you disembark on Harvest Caye, Norwegian’s premier resort island. Or spend the day relaxing on our ship. (B, L, D)
Day 11- Tuesday, March 24 – Cozumel, Mexico– Experience a classic Caribbean escape at our last port of call- Cozumel, Mexico. Explore San Miguel, the only town on the island, enjoy one last day on the beach, or simply savor time on the ship. (B, L, D)
Day 12- Wednesday, March 25 - Day at Sea - Make the most of your last day full day aboard the ship, checking off any last must-do dining or entertainment experiences. (B, L, D)
Day 13- Thursday, March 26 - Home - This morning, disembark in Miami and fly back to Baton Rouge, filled with lasting memories. (B)
