- Day 1 - Thursday, May 13- San Francisco, CA – Today we fly to San Francisco and check into our Fisherman’s Wharf hotel for overnight. Enjoy Ghirardelli Square this evening at your leisure, featuring 40 specialty shops and restaurants. Overnight in San Francisco.
Day 2 - Friday, May 14 - Napa Valley - After breakfast, we meet our guide for a city tour of the Bay Area. This afternoon, we take a cruise to Alcatraz. Then off to the Napa Valley for the next two nights. (B)
Day 3 - Saturday, May 15 - Napa Valley- Today we enjoy a full day tour of Wine Country, where we’ll tour two vineyards and sample their excellent wines. Overnight in Napa Valley . (B)
Day 4- Sunday, May 16, Gold Beach OR - We start the day by touring the Redwoods, followed by an included picnic lunch. We’ll then enjoy a drive of the Avenue of the Giants, the largest remaining stand of old growth redwoods in the world. Travel to Gold Beach for an overnight stay. Tonight we enjoy a seafood dinner. Day 5 - Monday, May 17 - Newport OR - Get ready for a full day - this morning we have a jet boat ride on the wild Rogue River. The Pacific Coast Highway follows the 400 mile trek of the spectacular Oregon Coast. See panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, beaches and lighthouses. Overnight in Newport, Oregon. (B,L)
Day 6 - Tuesday, May 18 - Portland, OR- Today we start with a 2-hour cruise exploring ocean life including gray whales, harbor seals, sea lions and more. We then travel to Portland for an afternoon guided tour of the city where we’ll learn about the history of the Pacific Northwest, Portland’s Historic Old Town, Chinatown and City Center. Overnight in Portland. (B)
Day 7 - Wednesday, May 19 - Seattle – Today enjoy a Route of the Waterfalls Tour including stops at Bridal Veil and Multnomah Falls. Next, we’ll tour Mount St. Helens Visitors Center and then make our way on to Seattle, Washington. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Seattle. (B)
Day 8 - Thursday, May 20 - Seattle, WA – Today we tour the Emerald City including to the top of the Space Needle and Pike Place Market, two of the main attractions of Seattle. Farewell dinner at local restaurant. (B, D)
Day 9 - Friday, May 21- Home- After breakfast, we depart for home. (B)
