Day 1 - Nashville area – We motor coach from Zachary to Baton Rouge, Hammond, Meridian, MS with pickups along the way. Overnight in Bowling Green, Kentucky area.
Day 2 - Ashtabula, Ohio – Motor coach through Kentucky by way of Louisville, with a brief stop at Churchill Downs (site of Kentucky Derby), then through Ohio from Cincinnati to Cleveland. Overnight Ashtabula, Ohio. Day 3 - Syracuse, New York – Motor coach to Buffalo, N.Y. (option of flying into Buffalo). We spend midday at Niagara Falls, visiting both sides of the falls (U.S. and Canada) with Maid of the Mist boat trip under the falls. Then through beautiful western New York to Syracuse, N.Y. for overnight. Day 4 - Rutland, Vermont – Motor coach through New York’s capital, Albany, and into west Massachusetts. At Stockbridge we visit the Norman Rockwell Museum and continue into beautiful Vermont for overnight in Rutland. Day 5 - Littleton, New Hampshire – A day of sightseeing in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont. Morning sightseeing at Killington and Plymouth. Mid-day visit to Woodstock, Vermont. Three nights in Littleton, New Hampshire, located on the border with Vermont. We do day trips from this central location. Day 6 - Littleton - Today we visit a maple syrup farm and apple cider mill. We visit Stowe, Vermont and see some spectacular scenery. Lunch at Von Trapp Family Lodge. Day 7 - Littleton - A day of spectacular scenery. We ride into the heart of New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains. Enjoy Cannon Mountain Aerial Tram and Franconia Notch. We have an included lunch and tour at renowned Mount Washington Hotel. See Crawford Notch and Arethusa Fall, North Conway. We enjoy stops along the most scenic highways in New England, Kancamagus, to see covered bridges and wonderful vistas. Day 8 - Kennebunkport, Maine – Motor coach along the base of Mt. Washington, New England’s highest mountain and then through the woods and lakes of Maine to coastal Freeport and midday stop to shop at the main LL Bean. Also, many outlets. Journey to Kennebunkport to view George Bush’s home. Time for shopping. Overnight in Kennebunkport area. Day 9 - Boston area – Picture stop at popular Nubble Lighthouse. On to Boston for guided sightseeing of Old Boston. Time at Quincy Market for eating and shopping. (Can fly home from Boston.) Overnight in Boston area. Day 10 - Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania - Morning visit to Old Sturbridge Village. Through Connecticut into Pennsylvania for overnight in Wilkes Barre. Day 11 - Winchester, Virginia - Mid-day visit in the Amish Area. Through the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Overnight in Winchester. Day 12 - Chattanooga, Tennessee - Morning drive along the wonderful Blue Ridge Parkway (wonderful color). Then visit Natural Bridge (one of the natural wonders of the world). On along the Blue Ridge Mountains and through Eastern Tennessee. Overnight in Chattanooga. Day 13 - Home – We motor coach to Meridian, Hammond, Baton Rouge, Zachary. We arrive home with many wonderful memories of a truly spectacular tour. |
