Day 1 - Nashville - Motor coach from Zachary, Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, Hammond, and on to Nashville for our 3-night stay at the world-famous Gaylord Opryland Resort. This resort has nine acres of atrium-covered gardens and walkways.
Day 2 - Nashville - Today we board the General Jackson Showboat for our included luncheon cruise and show. The afternoon is free to explore the resort or ride a Delta River Flatboat at your leisure. Tonight we will attend the “Grand Ole Opry” at the Grand Ole Opry House, the first venue built specifically as a home to the Grand Ole Opry in 1974. This is always a wonderful musical experience.
Day 3 - Nashville - Free time this morning at your leisure to enjoy the hotel or go shopping at the adjacent Opry Mills mall. This afternoon we will enjoy ICE! - a chilly adventure through hand-carved holiday displays created from more than 1.5 million pounds of ice. There is also an outdoor Nativity display, crafts and gifts galore, lavishly decorated trees and nearly three million Christmas lights. This evening at the Opryland Hotel we attend a Country Christmas Dinner & Show (artist to be announced later). We will also enjoy a traditional holiday dinner with all the trimmings.**
Day 4 - Home - We leave Nashville and return home with many wonderful memories.
