UPDATED COVID-19 TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR ISRAEL AS OF 2/21/22: A PCR test will be required 72 hours prior to departure and again at the airport in Tel Aviv. Clients will be required to quarantine at hotel until PCR results return (estimated return time is 4 to 24 hours). We have partnered with a local lab and can offer the first test at no cost other than proof of insurance. The Tel Aviv test will cost between $40 and $50 US dollars.
There is no test required to cross between Israel and Jordan. Testing fees are not included in the cost of the trip and are the responsibility of each traveler. These requirements are subject to change without notice. A PCR test will be required before returning to the United States and is estimated to cost between $40 - $50 USD. Updated 2/8/22 - The border between Israel and Jordan is now fully open. This trip now includes Petra.

Day 1 - Friday, May 27 - Depart Baton Rouge for an overseas flight.
Day 2 - Saturday, May 28 - Tel Aviv – Evening arrival in Tel Aviv. Overnight on the Mediterranean coast. Day 3 - Sunday, May 29 - Sea of Galilee – Motor coach north along the Mediterranean Sea to visit Caesarea where Paul was a prisoner. Visit Elijah’s Mt. Carmel and the ancient fortress of Megiddo. Cross the Armageddon Valley and visit Nazareth, boyhood home of Jesus. Journey through Cana to Tiberias, located on the shore of the beautiful Sea of Galilee, our home for two nights. Day 4 - Monday, May 30 - Sea of Galilee – We take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee and visit Mt. of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi, Mt. Hermon, Jordan River headwaters and Capernaum, the focal point of Jesus’ Galilee ministry. Day 5 - Tuesday, May 31 - Jerusalem -Morning baptism in the Jordan River for those who desire. Down the Jordan Valley and visit Beth Shan excavation. Continue on to visit ancient Jericho. Then up the Jericho Road to Jerusalem. Day 6 - Wednesday, June 1- Jerusalem – (The order of what we see while in Jerusalem may be altered). Visit the Mt. of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, and Garden Tomb. Afternoon visit to Bethlehem, birthplace of Jesus, and Shepherd’s Field. Day 7 - Thursday, June 2 - Jerusalem – Drive down the Jericho Road to the Dead Sea. Visit the site of Dead Sea Scrolls Cave, and top of fortress Masada. We visit in and around the Temple Mount and Dead Sea Scrolls Museum. Day 8 - Friday, June 3 - Jerusalem - Visit the Old Walled City, Temple area, Wailing Wall, Pilate’s Judgment Hall, Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Pool of Bethesda and the Upper Room. Day 9 - Saturday, June 4 - Jerusalem - More sightseeing. Afternoon sightseeing includes modern Tel Aviv and the ancient port of Joppa, where Jonah sailed away & where Peter had his rooftop vision. Shopping time in the Old City. Day 10 - Sunday, June 5 - Morning departure to the Jordan River Crossing. Visit the Bethany baptism site. View the Holy Land from the top of Mt. Nebo, as Moses did. Special lunch. Overnight in Petra. Day 11 - Monday, June 6 - Full day of sightseeing in Petra, one of the great wonders of the world. Overnight in Petra. Day 12 - Tuesday, June 7 - Today we head back to Amman. Day rooms in Amman for evening rest. Day 13 - Wednesday, June 8 - Early morning flight for home, arriving in Baton Rouge early evening. |
