- Day 1, Thursday, March 13- Tyler, TX - Early morning departure from Zachary and Baton Rouge. Pick-ups along on the way to Tyler where we will stay two nights at a local hotel. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (D)
Day 2, Friday March 14-Tyler- Travel to Bullard, Texas to visit the American Freedom Museum for a private tour. Lunch at Kiepersol Winery then a tasting tour. Afternoon visit to Historic Downtown Tyler where you’ll have your choice of visiting the Goodman-LeGrand Museum or spend time perusing local shops. Dinner at The Grove Kitchen and Gardens. (B,L,D)
Day 3, Saturday, March 15- Grapevine- This morning, we visit the Triple N Ranch and Winery for a wine tasting, lunch on the ranch, and a parade of longhorns. This afternoon we will travel toward Grapevine with a stop at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. After we check into our Grapevine hotel for a two-night stay, we'll enjoy a Murder Mystery at the Texas Star Dinner Theater. Overnight in Grapevine. (B,L, D)
Day 4, Sunday, March 16- Grapevine – This morning, enjoy time in Historic Downtown Grapevine. Experience the Grapevine Glockenspiel and watch an exciting interaction between the larger-than-life mechanical figures as they emerge from the clock tower. Then take a ride 150-feet up in the Grapevine Main Observation Tower and enjoy the 360-degree view including Lake Grapevine, Downtown Dallas, and Fort Worth. You’ll have time to shop and sight-see along Main Street with lunch on your own.
This afternoon, we ride the Grapevine Vintage Railroad to the Fort Worth Stockyards, where you’ll have time to explore before we head back to Grapevine for dinner, live music and dancing at Billy Bob’s Texas, know as “The World’s Largest Honky Tonk.” Overnight in Grapevine. (B,L,D)
