- Day 1 – Monday, October 20, 2025 – Journey to Chattanooga - This morning, board our motor coach as we depart Zachary with pick-ups in Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, and Hammond. After lunch in Meridian, we’ll arrive in Chattanooga this evening and check into our downtown hotel, conveniently located just a few blocks from the Tennessee River. Enjoy a delicious Southern welcome dinner at Puckett's Restaurant, known for its live music and local charm. (D)
Day 2 – Tuesday, October 21, 2025 – Scenic Chattanooga - After breakfast, we’ll begin our day with a ride on the historic Incline Railway to Lookout Mountain, offering breathtaking views of the city and surrounding fall foliage. We’ll then board the Southern Belle Riverboat for a three-hour Fall Foliage Lunch Cruise. Sit back and relax as we cruise through the stunning Tennessee River Gorge, also known as the "Grand Canyon of the South," with live narration and a delicious lunch buffet. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Stroll along the Chattanooga Riverwalk, visit the Tennessee Aquarium, or relax back at the hotel. Dinner is on your own tonight, with suggestions provided for great local options nearby. (B, L)
Day 3 – Wednesday, October 22, 2025 – Rock City & Chattanooga Charm - After breakfast, we’ll head to the enchanting Rock City Gardens, a beloved Chattanooga landmark. Take time to wander through the gardens, enjoy the spectacular views, and snap a photo at the famous "See Seven States" overlook. Lunch will be at a local eatery. This afternoon, we’ll board the Missionary Ridge Local Train for a scenic and educational ride, learning more about Chattanooga’s rich railroad history. Dinner tonight is on your own; if time, consider exploring the vibrant Warehouse Row area for dining and shopping. (B, L)
Day 4 – Thursday, October 23, 2025 – Birmingham Bound - This morning, we’ll depart Chattanooga and travel to Birmingham, Alabama. Our first stop will be the renowned Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, featuring one of the world’s largest collections of vintage motorcycles and cars. Afterward, enjoy a group lunch at a popular local Birmingham eatery. This afternoon, relax as we explore the serene Birmingham Botanical Gardens with time to take in the beauty of the seasonal blooms and foliage. Enjoy tonight’s stay at the Drury, where you can enjoy their included 5:30 Kickback—complimentary evening snacks and drinks to wrap up your day (B, L, D)
Day 5 – Friday, October 24, 2025 – Return Home - After breakfast, we’ll board the motor coach for our journey home. We expect to arrive back home this evening. (B)
