- Day 1 - Wednesday, March 26 -Hot Springs, AR – Motor coach from Zachary, Baton Rouge, Lafayette and pickups along the way. This afternoon we check into the Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa, the oldest and largest hotel in Hot Springs, dating back to the late 1800s. Enjoy an included dinner at the Fisherman’s Wharf Steak and Seafood on Lake Hamilton this evening. (D)
Day 2 - Thursday, March 27 - Hot Springs - This morning we tour Garvan Gardens, the 210-acre botanical garden of the University of Arkansas, surrounded by the beautiful Ouachita Mountains. See their famous azaleas in bloom, along with other vibrant flower beds and serene walking trails (golf cart tours available for additional fee for mobility challenged0, and take in the beauty of Anthony Chapel, an awe-inspiring glass and wood structure that seamlessly blends into its natural forest surroundings and offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. This afternoon you have the choice of indulging in a spa or bath treatment back at our resort (additional cost/reservations required) or you may enjoy some light shopping and exploring in the heart of downtown Hot Springs. Dinner on your own this evening. (B)
Day 3 - Friday, March 28 - Moss Mountain Farm - Hot Springs - Today we take a short ride over to Moss Mountain Farm, near Little Rock, and experience the beauty and charm of one of America’s most talented garden designers, P. Allen Smith. Enjoy a guided tour that offers an intimate look at this designer’s renowned gardens, historic home, and sustainable farm practices. Stroll through vibrant landscapes, explore the breathtaking seasonal displays, and learn about the farm’s rich history. After the tour, indulge in a delightful farm-to-table lunch, featuring seasonal recipes from P. Allen’s celebrated cookbook. This afternoon, we return back to Hot Springs where we’ll enjoy an included farewell dinner. (B, L, D)
