Day 1, Tuesday, May 17 - Chattanooga, TN – Motor coach from Zachary, Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, Hammond, Meridian, and Birmingham.
Day 2, Wednesday, May 18 – Woodstock, VA – We travel through beautiful Eastern Tennessee and the scenic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Visit the Natural Bridge. Day 3, Thursday, May 19 – Lancaster, PA – Panoramic sightseeing in Washington D.C. viewing the highlights – Capitol, White House, World War II memorial on the way to Lancaster, Pa. and our hotel, conveniently located in the heart of Amish Country, and our home for 3 nights. We will do day trips out from this central location. We enjoy an included dinner at an Amish restaurant. Day 4, Friday, May 20 - Lancaster – Morning visit to Amish country market with a mid-day Amish home meal. This afternoon we enjoy a biblically-based theater production at the outstanding “Sight and Sound” Theater, worth the trip itself. Day 5, Saturday, May 21 - Lancaster – Enjoy the Amish Experience with a full day of sightseeing, activities and shopping in the Amish area. Day 6, Sunday, May 22- Berlin, Ohio – Morning visit to Hershey’s Chocolate World, where the chocolate making process is explained and shopping abounds. Afternoon drive across Western Pennsylvania and visit the heart touching Flight 93 memorial; then to the Amish area of central eastern Ohio for 3 nights. Day 7, Monday, May 23 - Berlin– Full day of Amish related activities and sightseeing with an included lunch in an Amish home. Buggy ride and back-roads tour. Visit Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center and a 265 ft. mural depicting the history of the Amish. Day 8, Tuesday, May 24 – Berlin - Visit Troyer Country Market. Explore the delightful antique shops of Berlin this afternoon. Day 9, Wednesday, May 25 - Franklin, TN - We journey through Ohio and Kentucky, into Tennessee for overnight. Day 10, Thursday, May 26 - Motor coach through Birmingham and Meridian to Baton Rouge and Zachary, arriving with many wonderful memories |
